13" Wok with Ring, Product of Taiwan
The one-handled wok is ideal for stir-frying and the 13" size makes for a good all-purpose wok suitable for most Thai dishes like Pad Thai. The wok can also be employed for steaming, as its sloped sides allow a bamboo steamer to rest perfectly inside.
Because the bottom of the wok is rounded, a wok ring (also known sometimes as a burner collar) is necessary so that the wok sits firmly over the flame of the burner, because most Western stoves have not been designed for use with a wok.
