Kao Maak Powder is used for making fermented sticky rice dessert. It is given sweet taste and alcoholic smell. Kao Maak is a traditional Thai dessert, eaten in hot season. White sticky rice is used to mix with Kao Maak powder (1 ball of kao maak powder for 1 Lb of the the sticky rice) and then leaves for 2-3 days. Through the fermented process,the rice will finally turn smooth and give sweet taste.
