Yellow Bean Sauce (dtow jiow, fermented yellow soybean sauce, soybean condiment , yellow bean sauce) is a salty yellow-brown sauce made up of crushed soybeans which is used as a condiment. This stongly flavored sauce should be used for stir-frying vegetables and meats or added to Asian soups. Also add to steamed fish to bring out the taste and aroma.
