Straight-Edged Utility Knife (152), Kom Kom

This straight edged utility knife, Kom-Kom #152, is ideal for the cutting a vast range of different meats, vegetables, fruits, and cheeses. It was primarily designed for general household use without belonging to any specific area of specialist cookery. It is comprised of a 5-inch rectangular blade and a 4-inch hard wooden handle. The blade has a width of just over 1-inch with a 1mm thick spine. This knife is also double riveted with a half length tang, providing balance and durability. Despite the solidity of the blade, the utility is also light and manageable, thus suitable for a number of different cutting techniques such as slicing, dicing, carving, mincing, chopping, julienning, and chiffonade.
